The countdown to this year’s major concert is rounding down faster than we can believe over here at WCB HQ!

With just under two weeks left there’s still a lot to do. Behind the scenes we’ll be busy sending out invitations, organising spots in the newspaper and convincing all friends and families to come down and enjoy themselves.

We’ve also just had our annual trivia night this past Friday. Big thanks to all who attended and made the night a bunch of fun, we ended up raising $873.20 – a mammoth effort.

The last few rehearsals have been jam packed, often running past our rehearsal time with not much time for breaks. It’s great to hear the difference in technique week to week as we only get better. Listen out for Carnival of Venice – this one features four absolutely amazing soloists playing some very difficult music!

But more than anything else I’m proud of all the hard work the band has put into the repertoire for this year and I’m very excited to share it all with you.
