This week marks less than a month until our 30th year anniversary concert and all of us over at Werribee Concert Band HQ are awaiting it eagerly and (mostly) nervously. It will culminate months of hard work from the band and the committee behind the band who are trying to get the word out and as many tickets sold as possible.

All this week I’ve been contacting media outlets and sending out flyers to anyone and everyone who might be interested in our event. Look out for members of the band in local newspapers and on the radio soon!

All profits from the night will go towards keeping the band running and playing, so we can encourage our members to pursue their love of music and continue to put on the many free concerts and events we participate in throughout the year.

A good portion of the profits will also be shared with the Laverton Community Choir, our special guests for the night. The choir have also been practising hard and will surely be a delight to hear in front of the band.
